Jackie & Michael Pear Tree Estate Wedding

I have said it once and I’ll say it again…I have the BEST clients! Seriously- I just LOVE all my couples and clients. Jackie and Michael were the absolute best sports about everything. I mean let’s face it- every bride’s dreams have basically been crushed in 2020 and man I so wish there was something I could do to make it all better. Maybe I understand a little (emphasis on little) how moms feel when their kids are going through something tough; there’s nothing you want more than to make it all go away and become perfect again.

Not only was their wedding in the middle of an international pandemic but also it was raining for a good portion of the day. Rain doesn’t ruin a day but it makes things a bit more dicey and you definitely have to be OK with the plan changing up a bit. Jackie and Michael didn’t even care ONE BIT about the rain! They marched right off their party bus with their Illini umbrellas to get some stunning shots on campus. Exhibit A.

I also want to give a HUGE shout out to Annie and all the Pear Tree Estate staff. (Pear Tree Estate is located in Champaign, IL, in the middle of a gorgeous Central Illinois field.) They have bent over backward for their clients to try to make things a little better than they are amidst COVID-19. For example, Pear Tree Estate hung a plexiglass wall in the middle of their giant venue in order to accommodate two groups of 50 people on either side of the clear wall. It was so clear I was taking bets on how many guests would run into the wall because they didn’t see it- for real though. (Jackie and Michael’s crowd couldn’t have been better- I lost all bets as no one ran into the wall!)

Even though there couldn’t be any dancing and the outdoor games got rained out, everyone had such a wonderful time sipping on delicious drinks and socializing with friends and family. Enjoy these beautiful pictures captured by Brooke and Tim with T&B Photography.
