Jace's Dino-Mite First Birthday Party

There is nothing quite as special as celebrating your first child’s first birthday. I guess next summer I will personally get to experience that too!

Cari contacted me to help plan Jace’s first birthday party and she had two requests: she wanted it to be dinosaur themed and she wanted to somehow incorporate the parachute game we all played in PE. LOVE! I was immediately on board.

Since Jace is turning 1 years old he couldn’t participate in all the activities, but there were numerous other kids in attendance who could and Jace loved tottling around and watching them play.

We had lunch catered by Pekara and dinosaur cookies and cupcakes from Hunny Bunny Bakes. Activities included a dinosaur egg hunt, pin the tail on the T Rex, Tricera-toss, dino dig (including a paleontologist hat to decorate with stickers), parachute activity, dinosaur photo booth, and of course running around with their plush dinosaur tails attached.

The weather was absolutely to die for which made all the outdoor activities so much more fun! It was really special to end the celebration with serenading the birthday boy while he dug into a delicious cupcake. Cari thanked everyone for all their support this last year and said she couldn’t have done this without them! So sweet to hear!
