Layla's First Birthday Party

Planning Layla’s first birthday party was such a fun experience! We love the opportunity to plan social events! Kylie took the lead on this party. 

She met with Layla’s mom on Zoom to get her overall vision for the day. We’ve learned asking the right questions helps set appropriate expectations for the client and us. Kylie took the information gathered from this meeting and created a proposal that had decor ideas along with the cost of each item to ensure she was staying on budget. 

We typically work with other decor vendors to help create a client’s vision, however sometimes we will personally shop and purchase everything ourselves. This was one of those times as the nature of the decor was more simple. Kylie shopped along with contacted florists, bakeries, and stayed in communication with the venue, Lodgic, to ensure everything was covered.

On event day, Kylie arrived that morning to Lodgic to set up: pumpkins, balloons, a photo wall, and floral centerpieces. Overall, it was a simple yet beautiful set up! Everyone had a great time mingling and enjoyed celebrating the birthday girl! It was our honor to take care of the details so that Layla’s family could simply enjoy the day.
