Madalyn & Zach The Venue CU Wedding

The mother of the bride contacted me Spring 2020 explaining she definitely wanted help on the wedding day. She wanted to enjoy her daughter’s wedding and my services were a gift from her mom (aka the bride’s grandmother). How special!! I often hear that my services are a gift from someone to the bride but this is the first time I’ve heard a grandmother gifting it to her daughter. Love that. From these photos you can just tell she is thoroughly enjoying the wedding!

The bride reminded me of Alexa from Schitt’s Creek with her sarcastic witty comments. She was really laid back about her day, just happy to be marrying the love of her life. The bride and groom has been dating since early high school. The bride printed off TONS of their pictures together from over the years and we hung them above the dessert table. It was so cute to see them grow up together.

My favorite part of their ceremony was when Zach’s uncle came up to share a short message. It was so meaningful and personal and he clearly expressed the true meaning of marriage- a covenant representing Jesus Christ and the church. I definitely teared up during this part!

The bride and groom have a dog together and of course he was brought in for some photos. They told me he was a large Bernedoodle but I was floored at how large he was- 130 fluffy pounds of happiness and love. If you know me you know I was never a dog person until I got my own Goldendoodle 3 years ago. Now, I’m a HUGE fan of incorporating your pup into your wedding day.
